Contact lense sizing?

Random question, for knowledgeable folk out there.

I'd like to buy prescription coloured contact lenses. I've done this before, where the prescription has exactly matched the lenses on the website I used: for reference, base curve 9.0, diameter 14.2, power -3.00.

I've found cheap and appropriate ones I want from a wholesaler thingy. Trouble is, the base curve is 8.6.

Does this mean they will be looser/tighter on my eyes? Will it matter for occasional novelty use anyway (they're 30 day ones)? I'd like to buy them today so they get posted in time for Friday. Why yes, I have a sekrit plan... :P

Because I'm a scuzzfuck, I don't wear the correct sized contacts when I wear cosmetic. I only wear them for a maximum of 5 hours, and they've never given me any problems.

I looked on that site the other night, and couldn't seem to see if any lenses were prescription rather than plano; also, I can't see if it's one of those sites that needs an actual prescription emailed to them rather than a tickybox (I don't have a recent prescription, which is naughty)...
